Amarnath Helicopter Routes (Baltal & Pahalgam)

There are two main routes for helicopter booking:

1. Baltal Route

• Nearest helipad: Baltal
• Drop point: Panchtarni
• Distance: Approx. 6 km trek after landing
• Flight time: 8–10 minutes

This route is short and fast. It is best for those with limited time.

2. Pahalgam Route

• Nearest helipad: Pahalgam
• Drop point: Panchtarni
• Distance: Approx. 6 km trek
• Flight time: 15–20 minutes

This route is scenic and comfortable. It is less crowded than Baltal.

Both routes finally reach Panchtarni. From there, you walk or take palki/pony to the cave.
